Why did liberals not care what Nixon lied about, only that he lied, while caring about what Clinton lied about?

Nixon didn't even lie to a grand jury while under oath, while Clinton committed perjury that would have bought anybody else a contempt of court charge and a felony conviction. Why the double standard?
