I have a firm belief in God and SOME of the Catholic values...but a lot of times when my pastor is praying for the abolition of gay marriage or abortion, I can't say amen. I don't believe in that, and I kind of feel like I shouldn't commit to a religion unless I can commit 100 percent. I know I am for gay marriage and pro-choice; although I'm fifteen, I doubt that will ever change. Would it be wrong for me to get confirmed if I can't even firmly believe in my religion's values?
