I am considering buying a used mid 1990's Toyota 4 Runner can anyone tell me if this is a good vehicle to buy.

I would like to know what the difference between the mileage of a 2wd and a 4wd. Does this vehicle need a lot of repairs, how many miles can I expect to get from a 4 Runner. I used to drive Chev Astro vans, will there be a lot of room for storage and how many people can sit in it. Does anyone know a website that goes into detail about used vehicles so that it is easier to buy a used car.
