Can you help me become better at English?

English is in fact my first language but I also speak Japanese. I am really good at cles like Math and Science, but I can't seem to get my English scores up. I took the PSAT this year and ranked 89% and 69% in writing but scored 36% in critical reading. I can't seem to get my reading scores up no matter how many books I have read. I read many book just this year and read about 20 over the summer. Most of them are teen drama book but I have read books this year like a separate peace, the jungle, and more. I need to know what book would bring up my reading scores and what would allow me to bring up my scores. I really want to score high on the SAT's and get into USC's business program. Please help me
